After Graham Potter was fired by the Premier League's top team, the Blues legend, who was stripped of his management duties at Stamford Bridge back in January 2021, was reappointed as interim manager. As Lampard spent 13 wonderful years playing for Chelsea, he is well-versed with west London life, and Kovacic is pleased to see a familiar face taking on the responsibility of turning around a dismal season.
