Rashid Pelpuo submits his candidacy for the Wa Central seat, per NDC's decision.

Incumbent Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has filed his nominations to seek for the mandate of NDC delegates to lead the Party into the 2024 Parliamentary elections.

The seasoned lawmaker was joined by scores of party sympathizers from the National Democratic Congress from the MP’s office to the Party office at Wa Zongo.

Dubbed as the Victory Project, Pelpuo’s Campaign team leaders led the entourage that submitted the filled form at the headquarters of the party.

He is the first to have filed for the Wa Central Constituency under the ticket of NDC with three other members expected to submit theirs later this week.

Hon Dr Hassan Rashid has won the Wa Central Constituency seat since 2005 and finished the 2020 General Elections as the fifth best from 57 Parliamentarians in the entire Northern Ghana.

His 39,000 plus votes pegged him behind only four MPs from the Northern belt of Ghana in the last Elections.

He pledged to increase the voter pool in 2024 if endorsed within his NDC ranks.

The royal politician has evolved into an African asset with multiple appointments and elections into enviable positions across the globe at large.
